Fisk is a historically Black University located in Nashville, TN. The student rocket team at the University builds a sounding rocket to compete in the NASA University Student Launch Initiative program. The team also brings rocketry-focused science education activities to K-12 students in the Middle Tennessee area.

The team is supported and assisted by the Tennessee Space Grant Consortium, Griffin Technology, the Music City Missile Club and Hot Rod Rocketry.
